Who We Are
We’re snowbike riders who got tired of bad advice and overpriced gear. Started in a garage in Colorado, we began testing snowbikes because we couldn’t find honest reviews anywhere. What started as weekend fun turned into something bigger when other riders kept asking what gear actually worked.
Now we help thousands of riders find the right equipment and learn better techniques. We’re not fancy corporate types – just people who love riding snow and want to help others do it better.
Yeti Snow Bikes Mission
At Yeti Snow Bikes, we believe every rider deserves gear that works and advice that’s real. Too many companies sell dreams instead of products. We test everything ourselves on actual mountains, not just in labs.
Our mission is simple: help riders make smart choices about gear and techniques. Whether you’re buying your first snowbike or you’ve been riding for years, we want you to have the best possible experience on the snow.
We’re not trying to sell you the most expensive stuff. We want to sell you the right stuff for how you actually ride.
How We Test Gear
Every piece of equipment we review gets put through real riding conditions. We don’t just look at spec sheets or try things for an hour. Our team rides the gear for weeks in different snow conditions, temperatures, and terrain types.
We test in powder, ice, slush, and everything in between. If something breaks or doesn’t work right, you’ll know about it. We’ve destroyed plenty of gear so you don’t have to waste your money on junk.
Our review process includes checking durability, performance, value, and how easy stuff is to use. We also talk to other riders to get different opinions before we make recommendations.
Our Team
Our crew includes former pro riders, gear engineers, and regular folks who just love snowbiking. Some of us have been riding for decades, others are newer to the sport. This mix helps us understand what different types of riders actually need.
We have team members in California, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Canada. This lets us test gear in different snow conditions and terrain. What works great in deep powder might suck on hard pack, so we make sure to test everywhere.
Everyone on our team actually uses the gear we recommend. We don’t get paid by companies to say nice things about their products. If something doesn’t work for us, we won’t recommend it to you.
What Makes Us Different
We’re riders first, business people second. This means we care more about giving you good information than making a quick sale. We’d rather tell you to save your money than sell you something that won’t work.
We also update our recommendations regularly. Gear changes every year, and so do riding techniques. What was awesome last season might not be the best choice this year.
Most importantly, we remember what it’s like to be new to snowbiking. The sport can seem confusing at first, with lots of technical terms and expensive gear options. We try to explain things in plain English and help you avoid expensive mistakes.
Get Involved
We love hearing from riders about their experiences with gear and trails. Your feedback helps us give better advice to other people. If you’ve tried something we recommended, let us know how it worked out.
We’re also always looking for new places to test gear. If you know about great riding spots or have access to different snow conditions, we’d love to connect.
